CARBON CUT

Carbon Cut is revolutionizing video streaming with AI-driven compression technology from San Francisco (US) that prioritizes sustainability. Their solution helps companies reduce bandwidth costs by up to 60% while significantly lowering the carbon footprint of video streaming — without compromising video quality.
The task for this project is to develop a visual identity. Specifically, this includes creating a logo, carefully and thoughtfully selecting brand colors, and choosing the appropriate fonts.

LOGO
The logo reflects technological innovation, a strong connection to the video industry, and environmental consciousness. It combines several visual elements: a clapboard, designed to resemble the letter "C" (the first letter of both words in the name), and a leaf inside, symbolizing environmental responsibility.

COLORS
The brand colors align with the company’s mission. Shades of green emphasize the connection to sustainability and technology, while deep blues evoke the refined appearance of processed carbon — reminiscent of a diamond shimmering in sunlight.

FONTS
Helvetica is well-suited for this project because its clean, modern style aligns perfectly with the innovative concept of CarbonCut. The font emphasizes professionalism and reliability, while
its neutrality and simplicity allow focus on key elements without overwhelming the design.
As Helvetica was already chosen for the umbrella company HouseholdIQ, it was also selected for Carbon Cut to maintain brand consistency.

SOME ELEMENTS OF VISUAL IDENTITY
PATTERNS
Such patterns can look great in presentations, posters, social media posts, LinkedIn or Facebook covers, as decorative elements on a website, and more.

GRADIENTS
These gradients can be used, for example, as decorative background elements. A subtle animation of such gradients could also look very interesting, for instance, as the background of certain sections of a website.

Design in Context
This section showcases how the brand identity works across different real-life formats. From business cards and posters to apparel — each mockup demonstrates how design elements interact in various contexts. It’s a glimpse into the practical application of the visual system, ensuring consistency, recognition, and emotional connection with the audience.
Seeing the brand in context helps to understand how it communicates beyond the screen.
